As you may have guessed, the defining feature of this city is its beautiful lake, which is just south of town. Formerly, residents of Liberty Lake could commute to Spokane and other areas by trolley. Furthermore, the lake used to be home to a few floating dance floors. Talk about a neat place! Although there are no more floating dance floors and the commute to Spokane mostly by car now, Liberty Lake is still a great place to call home. Additionally, you can still enjoy the lake, whether you have private access from your waterfront home or you return to your home in town after visiting the public access.
